EIC Value Proposition

Critical factors of interoperability are messages (semantics)  and business processes. To simultaneously address cost and complexity, both messages and processes must be combined.

Today, the format of the message is standardized by industry standards organizations, However vertical standards are often ambiguous or focused on specific industries. The proliferation of standards and high demand in cross industry interaction makes it even more difficult to implement standard solutions.

This is where the EIC will add value: By defining a profile the EIC defines a standardized business process and also identifies appropriate vertical industry standards.
